The following is a standard chart used by knitters to convert yarn weights to either the Imperial or Metric measuring systems;
¾ oz = 20 g
1 oz = 28 g
1 1/2 oz = 40 g
1 ¾ oz = 50 g
2 oz = 60 g
3 ½ oz = 100 g
