The Basket of Yarn is your full service shop for all your knitting supplies: yarn, needles and patterns. In addition to our wide variety of products, we also offer an extensive variety of classes, workshops and drop in sessions. Feel free to come in and browse in our lovely waterfront shop and enjoy the friendly, relaxing atmosphere!

CLASSES
We are now taking registration for two new classes for the fall. Two Socks at Once and Double Knitting. Please contact the shop for class times and cost.
Start your gift making early. Use Fleece Artist / Hand Maiden for shawls, scarfs and socks. Patterns by Ilga Leja are beautiful and make wonderful gifts.
We have lots of new patterns by Lucy Neatby and just in Anne Hanson.
Directions to the shop - From Halifax take Hwy 103 to exit 5. Then turn left at the first set of lights which means you are now on the Hammonds Plains Rd. Contunue to follow this until you have gone thorough the next 2 sets of lights and our street is the next one on the left. Our street is a dead end and we are on the lake side which is on the right - 75 Hubley Mill Lake Rd
